Born in Denver, Colorado, Gary Sosias has been playing percussion since he was 9 years old (professionally since age 11). Gary played in his fathers' "Kiki Sosias" band, Conjunto Puerto Rico, until his passing in 1977. Gary was also the Leader and co-founder of Denver's own, Conjunto Colores, from 1979-1986! He lived in the Washington DC area for 27 years where he was a gigging musician, and an Elementary School Teacher for Montgomery County, Maryland. Gary holds a BA degree in Sociology with a minor in Bilingual-Bicultural Education from Metropolitan State University, as well as a Masters in Elementary Education from the University of Maryland. Now he is based in Cleveland, OH, Gary Sosias is a professional Musician that has dedicated his life’s works to music and performance. Perfecting his technical abilities and unique sound over the years, Gary Sosias has mastered live shows and unforgettable studio recordings, while captivating the hearts of fans and audience members across the nation.
